Don't you just love the turning of the seasons in the South? We get to enjoy the splendor of fall, without the harshness of winter that our neighbors to the north face. The light chill in the air, we now enjoy, ignites an extra spark of fun to all of our outdoor activities. So this month, it's time to celebrate the season, partake in fall festivities, and take time to renew and relax with our families.

Our fall feature focuses on ways around the south side and beyond to do all of those things and more! Making autumn memories with your kids can be as easy as the traditional carving of the pumpkins over cider and warm sugar glazed donuts (heavenly, trust me), enjoying a fall craft together like making the bejeweled black cat or lasting clay leaves featured in this issue, and maybe even, planning a simple, but fun fall family get-away.
