Note from the Publisher - May 2010

This month's issue features Kids and Money. If you have kids, you know what kind of little money vacuums they can be. Teaching them about money early is future protection for your wallet, as they become teens. Starting with concrete examples like having them help roll change gets them “rolling”, and as they get older, an allowance may be a good way to have them start managing their money. Introducing teens to additional financial information protects you both from financial challenges with credit cards and the like. While you are teaching your kids about money, it's a perfect time to start teaching them to be charitable, as well. Teaching your kids to save, and at the same time, give is a wonderful gift you can give them.
We also have some great quotes for mother’s day. Some will make you laugh and others may bring a tear. An inexpensive gift for Mother’s Day would be to stencil one of these quotes on to the matting around a favorite photo and frame. All moms love these heartfelt gifts.
Again, thank you for continuing to pick up our publication each month, and remember to tell our advertisers you saw them in Just 4 Families Digest.
Make it a great month!
